SISTER CLUB JOINT PROJECT IN COMMEMORATION OF LIONS CLUB OF GEORGE TOWN MUTIARA 38TH ANNIVERSARY
In conjunction with the 38th Charter Anniversary of the Lions Club of George Town Mutiara (LCGTM), a meaningful joint project is being carried out in collaboration with our sister clubs — the installation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at Mount Erskine Market.
This project symbolises the strong bonds of fellowship and
friendship shared among our sister clubs. More than just a commemorative
effort, it reflects our united commitment to serve the community and to leave
behind a lasting contribution that will continue to benefit the public.
Mount Erskine Market is a busy hub frequented by residents. The
installation of an AED in this location is both timely and essential, as it
provides immediate assistance during cardiac emergencies where every moment is
critical.
An AED is a life-saving device designed to restore a normal
heart rhythm in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. Through this joint
initiative, we hope to enhance community safety and preparedness while
creating a meaningful reminder of the friendship and shared service of our
clubs.
We gratefully acknowledge the generous support and participation of our sister clubs, namely LC Singapore Canning, LC Petaling Jaya Metro, LC Medan Raya, and LC Kota Budaya, whose contributions have made this joint project possible.
We are honoured by the presence of International Director Dato' Yeow Wah Chin, who participated in the launching of the project.
